Felix Dybdahl

I am 19 years old and have a Norwegian and German passport. At the age of 8, I stood on a surfboard for the first time in Hohwacht on the Baltic Sea. Since then, I have lived for this sport. The first few years I rode BIC Techno. There I gained a lot of experience in regattas. I also made friends from all over the world. When I was 13 years old, I went to my first European Championships and World Championships in Israel and Cadiz. Since then, I have been taking part in about 5 international regattas a year.

Today I race iQFOiL regattas. My sail number is NOR 1501 / GER 1501. IQFOiL has been an Olympic discipline since 2024. The equipment is fast and there is nothing better than flying over the water. Unfortunately, the equipment has to be constantly retrofitted, as it is exposed to strong forces. The Senior Equipment cost approx. 10,000 euros. In order to be able to realize my goal of participating in the Olympic Games, I need sponsors.

I just graduated from the Sundsgymnasiet sports high school in Vellinge (Sweden), where I lived alone in a hut. Sundsgymansiet has trainers who specialize in foiling boats and offers specialization in natural science subjects. Now I want to concentrate primarily on surfing and will study industrial engineering part-time.
