Saronno Polars

Il calcio amatoriale è romantico. Ha l'essenza del calcio perduto, quello che si giocava per strada o in un parchetto con due giacconi a fare da pali delle porte. 

I social pullulano di squadre amatoriali e il loro seguito è sempre maggiore grazie proprio a questo binomio: la vetrina che offre internet e il calcio della gente. I Saronno Polars sono nati in un bar di provincia, il Major Bar Bistrot di Ceriano Laghetto. 

Il nome è dato dalla città in cui siamo cresciuti, Saronno, e uno gioco: volevamo darci un tono interazionale un po' come le squadre di NBA o NFL che hanno una mascotte nel nome e da quella prendono anche il colore delle divise. Polars che richiama il bianco degli orsi polari, perchè le divise Blancos ci fanno sentire come il Real Madrid della Lombardia. 

Oltre al tono interazionale abbiamo fatto questa scelta in maniera strategica cosi che se cambierà la sede operativa, il nome Polars resterà invariato.

In due anni abbiamo raccolto seguito social grazie anche ai due “partner” che ci hanno finanziato: Il Major Bar Bistrot e l'Hangar Padel Club. Queste due attività ci hanno finanziato la produzione delle maglie, l'iscrizione al campionato e due post sponsorizzati a settimana su instagram. In questi post ad apparire in primo piano, oltre al risultato della settimana, erano proprio i loghi di queste realtà.

Dalla stagione 2023/2024 parteciperemo al campionato CSI - Open C di Milano e cerchiamo sponsor che ci finanzino l'iscrizione e che vogliano sfruttare la nostra vetrina.

Amateur football is a romantic. It has the essence of the lost football. The one we used to play in the streets or in the playground. The one where two coats make two posts.

The social networks are full of amateur clubs and their reach is every day bigger precisely because of this combination: the display that internet con offer and “the people's football”. Saronno Polars were born in a pub in the outskirts: the Major Bar Bistrot in Ceriano Laghetto.

The name of the team comes from the city we are born and raised in,  Saronno, and a joke: we wanted to give us an international scope and be like the NFL or NBA teams wich have a symbol that becomes the name of the team and also dictate the social colours.  Polars recall the polar bears' white and also the Blancos jersey of Real Madrid. Apart from that, we knowingly made that choice so that if we ever change “place of business” the name Polars will stay. (Just like the Chargers in the NFL).

In two years we gained a social following also thanks to our two partners: Major Bar Bistrot and Hangar Padel Club. This two business financied the kits' production, championship's costs and two paid sponsored posts a week and Instagram and Facebook. Starting from the following season we will compete in an official league: CSI - Open C, Milano section and we are looking for sponsor who can finance the enrollment in the league and the kits' production.

No particular sponsor. Anything that can benefit from a local phisycal presence and sponsored instagram post and also want to support a local football team.
