Wanas Uddin Ahmed

As an athlete, I always set goals which are out of my comfort zone but inside my achievable limit. I always push myself to thrive for more. But I also stay concerned about my ability, nutrition and stay updated about the important numbers. When I decide to attempt a milestone, I make sure to prepare properly so that i can achieve it successfully. So I never try to overdo myself. 

I believe humans are bound to break limits and achieve the unachievable feats. And for this there is no alternative to hard work and sensible diet. I am a mountain lover and I love running on the trails. Trail running is my passion and I want to achieve things which are challenging and exceptional in my country. 

I've got selected to participate in the OCC of the UTMB World Series Finals. UTMB is considered to be the world's most prestigious and competitive trail running event. It will be held on 29th August, 2024 and I'm currently preparing myself for this event. I'm the only selected participant from Bangladesh this year and 2nd Bangladeshi overall in the history. 

Therefore it is a great moment of pride for me and I'm eagerly waiting to wave my country's flag there after finishing my race.
